[OpenJDK 2D-Dev] [9] Review Request: 6521783 Unnecessary final modifier for a method in a final class

Looks OK. There are a small number of API / javadoc visible changes here
and although I can't imagine this changes the class signatures, you may
want to check this with someone in case the JCK signature tests need to 
be updated.
I don't think it should but best to be safe.
