Improving the http://openjdk.java.net/groups/adoption/ home page

Hi all,

Whilst I appreciate it's easier to edit the wiki, I thought we could
slightly improve the page at:

http://openjdk.java.net/groups/adoption/ to encourage people to dive in
further.

The Valhalla project (http://openjdk.java.net/projects/valhalla/) has an
enhanced home page as an example.  Whilst I'm not proposing to go that far,
I think some text around the link to the wiki stating what sort of useful
information will be found there will help encourage more folks to dive in.

@dalibor - do you have access/control to that particular index.html file?
