From adam.farley at uk.ibm.com Mon Apr 15 16:22:00 2019 From: adam.farley at uk.ibm.com (Adam Farley8) Date: Mon, 15 Apr 2019 17:22:00 +0100 Subject: Who is the Project Lead, Please? Message-ID: Hi All, Can someone tell me who owns this list, please? Olga is listed in the Census, but she resigned, and Sergey (who's listed on the list page) can't be contacted because emails sent to his list bounce. As for why I'm trying to get ahold of the lead... I'm carrying out a broad review of dormant or near-dormant lists so we can archive a bunch in a month's time (so; housekeeping). Here's the plan and the progress: https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8220662 Thoughts welcome. I see you have dio-dev in your "Presumed Dead" list. This may be the case but the mailing list is owned by the project. It might be that project should be archived if none of its members are interested in keeping it going. -Alan From snazarkin at azul.com Tue Apr 16 06:31:41 2019 From: snazarkin at azul.com (Sergey) Date: Tue, 16 Apr 2019 09:31:41 +0300 Subject: Who is the Project Lead, Please? Sergey seems interested in saving it though. Sergey) On the surface, it seems like the project needs someone to lead it and drive it. Hint hint. As for this mailing list, it does still seem quite dead, so perhaps project chat could happen in one of the general-use channels. Perhaps core-libs-dev, as the dev list for the sponsoring project.
