This bug might be 
http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=7026307
that never got backported to openjdk6.

Your error log indicates a similar symptom to this:
Product/fastdebug build also may crash with SIGSEGV:
# A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
#

Can you try build icedtea6 head with the attached patch applied and check if it
stabilize your JVM?
