             Bug #: 879
Summary: IcedTea claiming signature has expired when it is
still valid. Works fine in sun-java-plugin
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: IcedTea-Web
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: x86_64
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P3
         Component: NetX (javaws)
        AssignedTo: omajid at redhat.com
        ReportedBy: adam at xappworks.com
                CC: unassigned at icedtea.classpath.org

Currently using Linux Mint 12,
java version "1.6.0_23"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.11pre) (6b23~pre11-0ubuntu1.11.10.1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b11, mixed mode)

When I visit xappworks.com/go I am presented with a security warning stating
the certificate has an error. When I click more information, I am told the
digital signature has expired. This does not match the dates in the validity
field on the cert details.

This works fine with the sun-java plugin. We are told the cert is all good.

Repeatability:
Always.
