RFR (8u-dev) 8050485: super() in a try block in a ctor causes VerifyError

Hi,

Please review this straight-forward backport of the fix for 8050485 to 
JDK-8u.  The JDK-9 patch file was imported ino 8u with no problems.

The 8u backport was tested with JCK lang, vm, api/java_lang, hotspot 
jtreg, and ute Quick tests.
