Sorry got that the wrong way around. I don't see a hide() method in the 
7u6 source, or executing 7u6-b24.

But there one in JDK 8 and it's been backported to 7u-dev for 7u8 - CR 
7154030.

Looks like the 7u6 source bundle might be wrong.
