jdk8u-dev MacOS 10.15+ build environment?

Working on getting both Simon's and Amazon's (the non-backports based on Simon's) done.

So as far as I can see, the only issue is formatting the backports and getting
them approved. It'd be very nice to get them done as a group.

For what it's worth, I'm on the bleeding edge here because I'm testing AArch64.
The patches from Simon Tooke allow an x86 jdk8u build to work in that environment.
