Klaus:

I'm guessing that resources may have pulled from the Jigsaw project.  What 
this could mean is that it is up to people outside of the "traditional core" 
to make Jigsaw happen.  Based on my observations - Jigsaw was close to 
completion but the merge to the core 7 repository remains outstanding. As 
such, if my suspicions are correct, there is a real chance that Jigsaw is 
dead without significant outside intervention - and that raises real 
questions in my mind about the future of Java.

But hey - if I'm wrong - someone will say something real soon.
