I would have expected to see something like:

ifneq ($(CACERTS_SRC), )
  GENDATA_CACERTS_SRC := $(CACERTS_SRC)
else
  GENDATA_CACERTS_SRC := $(TOPDIR)/make/data/cacerts/
endif

at line 63.
