Betterrev re-write in something that works

Hi Martijn, all,

Play has unfortunately turned out to be a bit of a pain, but don't blame 
yourself for this Martijn, as several of us were involved in the decision.

With hindsight we probably should have applied the 'Matt Raible' 
approach for framework evaluation, and maybe we should have conducted a 
few more retrospectives along the way? Again though, this is a team 
effort, and therefore all of us are accountable for this...

My main experience is with Spring, but I'm liking the Java EE 7 stuff I 
have been playing around with, and so this migration sounds like a great 
idea. Hopefully we can see more at Hack the Tower :-)

One positive is that converting to Java JEE going to make for a great 
chapter in the Betterrev success story :-)
