Betterrev re-write in something that works

Yeah, the initial port of (get it compiling via Maven) meant commented out
most tests and disabling a bunch of stuff. The code base was far more
reliant on Play specifics than I'd previously realised. Hopefully it will
be in a shape by next weekend so people can work on it.
