G1 now the default in JDK 9

There's a bunch of tools which are.... not quite up to scratch in this
space. The best thing really for a hackday is to have people run realistic
load tests against their application and get the GC log results for
analysis. jClarity offers free licenses of Censum for OSS / Community
activities so we can make sure that people who want to test can send in
detailed results.
@Ben did you want to lead a hackday in London on this? We can do the usual
thing of hosting it on GitHub and getting people to repeat.
