Fwd: OpenJdk Mirror for Github

Hi Ben,

I think Kervin means its a way easier to reach developers over Github than
"closed" company repositories only. On Github are many developers which are
willing to commit something to an open source project. It just needs to
gain attention. There isn't any other platform that provides you this
feedback and open minded ideas.

TBH openJdk has everything to attract opensource developers:

good documented source code
easy to get started info
interesting projects
active jira portal for features and bugs to get started hacking


In my eyes with a bit promotion this could really help openJDK to gain more
interest of "stand alone" developers and the overall reputation of java and
oracle among developers.
