Two beginner questions

Hi everyone,

I introduced myself and Martijn pointed me at this list for further
questions on getting started (thank you!)

I actually do have two questions. I tried to find the answer for both of
them myself but the nature of this makes it very hard to Google.

1) Are there any searchable mailing list archives for the various OpenJDK
mailing lists?

2) I'm looking to contribute to the Java parts of OpenJDK and not Hotspot
or any of the other "native" code. As such I'd love to use IntelliJ to work
on the code. Is there a good tutorial out there on how to set up IntelliJ
to work with OpenJDK?
