I also am trying to build openjdk per Landon's instructions on a dual G5
running Leopard server.
What I'm seeing (with a reproducible procedure) is random rather than
reproducible failures.
(caveat)
I'm still getting up to speed re openjdk and PPC builds, so I can't really
say anything definite other than
Odd, random failures. Hmmm ...
atm.
I have logs (if interested), and am trying same build on the PowerBook G4
just in case its a hardware failure or something else ...
