How to influence File Permission Mode

I saw an issue similar to this myself. I was using OpenJDK 7 to build
OpenJDK 8 and a bug in OpenJDK 7 was making many (but not all) jars have
0600 permissions.

I added a workaround that involves a manual chmod. See:
