I'm not sure I'm aware of such a problem. However, there were issues
with the configure wrt alsa and cups, which are fixed in the build-infra
forest.
Can I ask you to try it in the build-infra forest instead? Clone the
build-infra repo (hg clone http://hg.openjdk.java.net/build-infra/jdk8)
and try running configure there instead -- I don't think you need the
whole forest to just run configure, just the top-level repo. If that
works, then the problem is solved and on it's way to the formal
repositories. Otherwise, we need to figure out what's wrong and fix it.
