I think @prsadhuk is right. If the components in a JSplitPane need to honor the orientation property it should invoke `applyComponentOrientation` method. As mentioned here, To set the orientation of an entire component hierarchy, use [applyComponentOrientation](https://docs.oracle.com/en%2Fjava%2Fjavase%2F22%2Fdocs%2Fapi%2F%2F/java.desktop/java/awt/Component.html#applyComponentOrientation(java.awt.ComponentOrientation)).
