Well, thanks for the definition. That's very clear albeit it still 
leaves me slightly unsatisfied (but not dissatisfied) over the fact that 
the JVM is somewhat at variance with this (it's semantic being "it has 
bytecode so I'll bite"). I'll report the bad news back to the AOP team 
and see what we can do to remedy the situation.
