Hi Joe,
The javadoc documentation,http://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/technotes/tools/unix/javadoc.html#CHDIBDDD, suggests a format such as
/**
* @deprecated As of JDK 1.1, replaced by {@link #setBounds(int,int,int,int)}
*/
I do not have a strong preference as to whether we need the "As of JDK 1.X" clause)
either way I am OK.
