Ah, I mis-read that was placed under src/java.base/linux/classes. OK.

-XshowSettings:system is a linux-only option.

Bob can advice on the usefulness of these metrics. I have no
objection to print them on cgroup v1. On v2, they are not shown (not
even N/A, right?)
