That sounds like a reasonable approach if we want to track both the
main dev line and the last LTS.  Backporting patches may become a
nuisance but given the rate of change in crac today, this seems like
an OK starting point.

I'm curious about the value of tracking the LTS though given we'll
need to merge to mainline when crac graduates.  Is the intention to
make it easier for users to try out under their existing deployments?
