building openjdk without openmotif

Dear all,
I build openjdk on my system, and ran into the problem that I didn't pass
the sanity check because I installed lesstif in stead of openmotif,
I did what was suggested on the following site;
http://weblogs.java.net/blog/schaefa/archive/2007/05/openjdk_here_i.html,
and was able to build openjdk properly.
Did the build actually work, or can I run into problems later?
If openjdk works fine with lesstif, I think we should add this in the build
documentation and mention it as a working alternative to openmotif.
If the above is true, we should also fix the sanity check.
Kind regards,
Pieter Libin
