A way for OpenJDK to make all java have larger fonts for a user?

Hi,

A java jar file application I open has very small font. The java app
offers no way for a user to incease font size. I wondered via openjdk
there's a config file I can edit to do this? OK to affect a java
globally - my laptop has hi-res screen and most java fonts need to be a
bit bigger. Thanks, using Linux and openJDK 6.
