I was startled by these deletion messages as well. I was unaware that it was 
possible to delete bug reports.

The deletion notifications I received were deletions of backport records that 
were presumably created erroneously. The main bug records are still there.

In this case I suspect that JDK-8036469 was a backport of the following bug,

https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8015087

which still exists and is in the Resolved state.
