jdk9/client was a staging repo and may have been archived to save space. 
The change-sets will have been pushed to the master (jdk9/jdk9 in this 
case) and surprised there isn't another comment in JIRA so that link. In 
this one at least, it should work if you replace "client" with "jdk9".
