To be clear, my original report refers to issues with ALSA. Sound in Runescape
is known to work perfectly with PulseAudio, both before and after my previous
bug report.

I am presently a few dozen miles away from the system that had the choppy
audio. I will look into building the IcedTea6 HEAD when I am back there on
Friday.
