[RFC][icedtea7-forest, icedtea7-forest-2.0] Backport of GNOME system tray patch

Hi,

Attached are 2 hg exports of the GNOME system tray changeset[1] ported 
to icedtea7-forest{,-2.0}. The original changeset imported to both repos 
cleanly.

I ran the same tests I used for jdk8/awt/jdk, they ran as expected. Icon 
does not appear before but does once built with the changeset.

Okay to push to both?
