I'm for this slightly updated (just vendor changed) manifest to go in. No more variables are needed
at this time.
Of course we can define all VENDOR, PACKAGE_URL as variables in makefile and lets the autotools
machinery to substitute, but is it really worthy?
I do not want to let this patch die.
