Hi! Just few more lines to otherwise full Laurent lines.

ITW is known to be working with jdk11

That bug has been resolved only on Java 12 as I understand it. We are of course trying to figure out if IcedTea-Web could be a drop in replacement for WebStart as we move on from Java 8 to Java 11.

With some luck, you will never hit this issue. With more luck, JDK11 will get the EDT fixed.
Otherwise you can live with jdk12.

If you will do any jdk11+ friendly patches, please contirbute. There is quite a few itw+jdk11 knwon
users, on both windows and linux (and some macks), so the wider audience is definitely beneficial.

Plan is to keep it working on jdk8 as long as possible, together with modular JDK support.
On windows, the bat launchers are really not jdk11 ready. The native launchers however should solve
it for ever, with theirs pros and cons.
