Licensing question

We are not providing legal advice on this mailing list. However, it is fair to point out that the Truffle framework is licensed under GPLv2 with classpath exception (see last paragraph of https://github.com/graalvm/truffle). Existing Truffle language implementations are licensed under a wide variety of licenses, for example UPL (SimpleLanguage), BSD (Sulong), GPLv2 (FastR), or also proprietary licenses. They are not restricted to the use of any particular license.
