It seems to me that any logic to figure out the correct indentation would be fragile at best. The change that caused this breakage was cleaning up the indentation to make it the same as the rest of the file. I wouldn't expect this to change again in a way that wouldn't require the logic to change as well. I suggest to simply add the two missing spaces in line 304.
