You are going to have to try yet another mailing list as this one only 
covers the hotspot jvm. The list I think you want is at:

compiler-dev at openjdk.java.net

Now if you were talking about the jits and not javac this would be the 
place. I think most of the jvm developers are quite illiterate about 
building javac, I certainly am.
