Thanks Liam for taking time to review my comments, exploring options in the demo and documenting alternatives in the CSR.

My opinions here are loosely held and to a large degree formed from the perspective of an armchair. I'm happy that alternatives have been raised and will take a step back now to let the PR proceed with input from experts with bigger shoes than me :-)
