I maintain the Jetty ALPN library for JDK 8u
(https://github.com/jetty-project/jetty-alpn/), which requires to
patch the JDK 8 sun.security.ssl classes.

We have already got requests as to whether we will continue to keep
jetty-alpn up to date with future JDK 8 releases
(https://github.com/eclipse/jetty.project/issues/3100).
Where is the right place (if it has already been decided) to be
notified of an officially tagged OpenJDK 8u release after January
2019?

The idea is that as soon as an official JDK 8u tag is cut, we'll get
an alert and we can update the jetty-alpn project and release a
version for that particular JDK 8u tag - if needed.

Thanks!
