Subject: CFV: New JDK Committer: Damon Fenacci
Hi,

I hereby nominate Damon Fenacci to JDK Committer.

Damon is a member of the HotSpot Compiler Team at Oracle and located in Zurich, Switzerland. He
holds a PhD in Informatics from the University of Edinburgh and a MSc in Computer Science from ETH
Zurich, with a focus on compilers and computer networks. Damon has over 20 years of software
development experience, mostly in compilers and full-stack engineering. More recently, he did
research at Queen's University in Belfast on optimizations for Java compilers and VMs, focusing on
memory management and garbage collection for Big Data frameworks.

Damon contributed 13 changes to HotSpot [1] of which at least the following eight are significant:
