As a new member of the community, I found those pages to be very helpful! Thanks Christoph.
One thing that would be helpful is a glossary. There are many acronyms floating around and it can sometimes be hard to figure out what they are. For instance:
GA - General Availability (?)
CPU - Critical Patch Update
JBS - JDK Bug System
BPR - ?
RDP1/2 - ?
CSR - ?
Perhaps such a thing exists already and I just haven't come across it.
Also an explanation of the versioning scheme somewhere would be helpful. Versions 11+ seem to use fairly standard semver, but 8 has a custom scheme that I still don't quite understand. I found a Wikipedia page [0] and Oracle page [1] on the subject, but they don't explain why the update number increments by 10 each quarter (192 => 202 => 212 etc.)
Thanks!
Eric

I enriched the technical/process detail pages with a checklist for things to do in the release cycle of an update release to be used by release engineers. This is still work in progress.
