[11u] RFR: 8051349: nsk/jvmti/scenarios/sampling/SP06/sp06t003 fails in nightly

Hi,

please review this backport of a test change to 11u. We see a failure in test nsk/jvmti/scenarios/sampling/SP06/sp06t001 once in a while in our regression testing. The related bug JDK-8053911 claims it has been fixed by JDK-8051349, so I looked into backporting it to reduce testing noise.

The original patch does not apply for the .cpp files. In 11 these are still .c files and the constructs at the patched locations look different. I made the patch fit to the c code in 11.
