Hotspot Express 16 is now available...

The bits for Hotspot Express 16 are now available via the open Hg 
repository.

http://hg.openjdk.java.net/hsx/hsx16

The [baseline] directory will contain the latest development bits. The 
[master] directory will contain the latest PROMOTED (and tested) build.

Development work here at Sun will proceed in these open repositories for 
stabilization of HSX 16.

We will be taking external submissions for fixes to HSX16 in the same 
manner as for OpenJDK 6 and 7.

The current build of HSX 16 is 08.  Builds will occur approximately 
every 2-3 weeks.

As of now, HSX16 is slated to be included in 6u18, and likely 6u19, 
6u20, and possibly other 6Update releases.

However, schedules are subject to change, and this email should not be 
construed as an official pledge of support or timetable for any specific 
version of HSX and/or 6Update release.

As a side note, for those interested in a complete list of bugs fixed 
since HS14, the last relevant changeset in HS14 was 502.
Thus, after cloning the repository, to see a list of all (non-merge) 
changesets, do:

hg log -v -M -R <your local clone dir> -r 503:tip
