[7u-communication] OpenJDK 7u60: Scope & Milestones

Hi,

[as I am just following this list and not involved in JDK development feel free to disregard my suggestion as stupid idea]

Have you considered the alternative of opening up already now a jdk8u and have a fix flow like

any bug fix --> jdk8u --+--> if showstopper --> jdk8
                        |
                        +--> if jdk7 worthy --> jdk7u-60

This way jdk7u-60 will differ a bit from jdk8 but jdk8 would automatically catch up with its first maintenance release (jdk8u-20 ?).
