[8u-dev] Request for approval for CR 8034199: Add "reconfigure" target for re-creating a configuration AND 8035904

Thanks.  Actually I am retracting my approval request for 8035904.

The 8034199 change is running fine in the systems I have tried. I was 
wrong in saying the =~ issue remains: the old bash version that caused 
problems (for that change in 2014, bash 3.00 was reported) is not in use 
on our build systems now.

But I did now find a system that didn't like the -q and -E options to 
grep which 8035904 adds.  So I plan to push just 8034199 and note this 
in the bugs.
