Fix version tags in JBS for jdk8u

Hi,
while looking around in JIRA, I noticed that changes pushed to the jdk8u-dev repo currently generate backport issues in JBS marked as “Fix version: openjdk8u”. When Oracle was still maintaining the JDK8 updates project, there would be fix versions like “8u212” eventually, which indicated the update version where the fixes went in. I guess Oracle will keep up with these version tags for their 8 updates in the future.
So, my question is: Will there be any such tagging for OpenJDK 8u updates? Has somebody already spent thoughts on this? It would probably be a nice thing, especially when somebody that is not too deep in the mercurial repos of OpenJDK wants to figure out whether a fix is in his OpenJDK version or where he’d have to go to… But it could be complicated to set it up, though.
Just asking
Best regards
Christoph
