Thanks for the feedback. The points you made here seem to be covered as far as my experiences with Skara backports go, e.g. in 16u. So the approval process will still be handled using the appropriate Jira labels and backport bug items will be created and/or updated by the Skara bots in a way that pretty much resembles what hgupdater has done before.
