Thank you to everyone who responded, lots of names I recognize and
respect, so I expect this to be good fun.

As I said, I'm coming with no fixed ideas or agenda for the project,
just a desire to see the interop work well.  Everyone's input is welcomed.

Reading the governance rules [1] I believe I can propose the project
(working for IBM I am considered a contributor already!).  I need the
support of a Group Lead whose Group will sponsor the project.  I guess
it makes sense to ask the Compiler Group (as sponsors of Jigsaw) to also
sponsor this new project.  That would be Jon Gibbons.

First order of the day is the trickiest part, choosing a name to
establish the project :-)  Maybe another type of saw, e.g. 'Bandsaw', or
'Penrose' after the mathematician Sir Roger Penrose [2] and his Penrose
tiling work, or 'Melody' to acknowledge the interop working well, ...
