I appreciate your shuttling of information between the expert group and this
mailing list.  I believe some of my comments would be more on point to the
expert groups current discussion if I were aware of where they were in the
process... and moreover I believe that they may want to reconsider past
positions on issues already tentatively decided on the basis of public
comments that would have be more likely to be made in the context of those
discussions.

If Oracle fulfills their promise to make the expert group deliberations
publicly visible, your shuttling of information would not be necessary and
the value of the "open" process could finally be realized.
