I am not fully up-to-date on that class, but this sounds reasonable. I 
expect Stanley will want to comment once he is back online.

No, but with any luck within the next few weeks (or so) there will be a 
Mercurial [1] repository for the Modules project on OpenJDK. That means 
people outside Sun will see exactly the same sources at the same time in 
the same way as people inside Sun.
