RFR: 8147468: Allow users to bound the size of buffers cached in the per-thread buffer caches

Hi,

are there any plans or votes pro/against bringing this fix to jdk8?

I’ve got a customer request who would like to see this back in 8, too…

Thanks
Christoph

I’m all set and jcheck is happy.

If the change is this one

http://cr.openjdk.java.net/~tonyp/nio-max-buffer-size/webrev.4/

I don’t see a reviewed-by line. See the example here

http://openjdk.java.net/guide/producingChangeset.html#create

under “Formatting a Changeset Comment."

Do I just do (the change only touches the jdk repo):

hg push http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk9/dev/jdk

Or is there a special way to do pushes?

You would need to use “ssh” in the above URL instead of “http.”
