Failing to build JavaFX

I tried this suggestion (the one Kevin has suggested) but I got warnings
about Gradle verification failures, and it listed specifically the JavaFX
version I had specified. Tried with a few different  modern versions to no
avail. Perhaps I'll try again and see if I can ignore those warnings.
