Ah! sorry about that, it's because i am using jtreg for test execution, which compiles tests and their dependencies before execution.

I strongly recommend you try out jtreg :-)

Note that long term we cannot provide support in the repository for alternative test execution, jtreg is the way to go, but for now its fine.
